The Journey Begins with a Single Step

The journey begins with a single step and that step usually takes place inside of ourselves. There are many people out there who are looking to make an even bigger step. Rather than just having thoughts and feelings, if you are reading this than it is because you are ready to take action. What am I talking about exactly? Leaving the confines of this society, and starting a new one in which we can be a free people. Closer to God as one may see it, closer to the earth as one may feel it, and closer to ourselves then we have ever been before. And when you are living life in such a way, it won't be so hard to grow closer to the people around you as well.

I for one am sick, and tired of our peoples's current choices in how to govern the future. We have lost the power to survive and to live for the sake of our own freedoms, and have sacraficed our own free will for pleasures that do not fully satisfy our needs. It is saddening to see so many people out there who have lost their way due to a deteriorating culture that only proggesses itself towards failure. I have witness with my own eyes the destruction these great cities are causing to people. The lack of humanity that is forming in the heart of this world will be the downfall for all of mankind. I fear the worst..

When is the time for change if it is not now then? We might not be able to change the world for other people, but that should not stop us from being able to change our own lives. It starts with a single step and the journey must never end. The desire for greatness should never be achieved, in this way we can always strive to be even greater than what we already are. And just the thought of how better off our lives could be tommorrow, than what they are today, should just bring a big ol' smile to our hearts. But how can it if it isn't true? As a people we are undeniably lost, and as a family we are far from loving one another as a part of the greater whole. I'm tired of strangers on the streets, I'm tired of a broken way of life. Unity is my goal, and I'm praying to the people reading this blog to take a stand with me, and break away from these chains of oppressional confinement and unite for a greater good that was lost to us so long ago. You know, I use to think that the hardest thing in life was trying to make a difference, but now it's almost as if not trying would be even harder.
